We have had a huge response to our program, so students meeting the requirements below will be accepted on a “first come, first served basis.” Please enroll early, as we can only accept 16 students.


DO YOU MEET THE REQUIREMENTS?

To enroll you must meet ALL of the requirements below except as noted:

1) Are you 18 years old or older? If yes, you qualify.
If no,
Will you be 18 by the beginning of the first quarter you want to enroll in? If so, you 
enroll if you include the signature of a parent or guardian on all forms.
If you will not be 18 when classes start, call us at 563/263-5840 to see if you 
qualify to be a student?

2) Do you have a high school diploma? If yes, you qualify.
If no, 
Do you have a GED (General Education) Equivalency? If yes, you qualify.
Will you have a high school diploma or GED by the first quarter you want to 
enroll in? If yes, you qualify so long as you can show your status upon arrival.

Have you completed all the forms? This would include:

Have you mailed them to us and received confirmation that they have arrived? If yes, you qualify.
If no,
Go to “Three Options to Receive Forms” at this web site.

Have you sent a $100 deposit check to us with your forms? Have you received confirmation that it has arrived? If so, you qualify. 
However, if we receive your deposit after all classes have filled, we will mail it back 
to you. Remember, your deposit gets deducted from your first quarter’s tuition.

Do you have a place to live while attending EIEC? If yes, you qualify.
If no, call us at 563/263-5840 to find out about possible options.

Do you have a horse to use for each Horsemanship & Equitation and Training class you plan to attend (You will need to use one horse for H&E classes and another horse for Training classes? Have you sent forms or called Forest Hill Farms about your needs? If yes, you qualify.
If no, please read the information in the Equestrian Center Handbook carefully. You can lease 
horses for either or both classes or bring your own for either or both classes.


If you have completed all of these tasks and have received confirmation of our receipt, you are enrolled in Eastern Iowa Equestrian College. Congratulations! We’ll see you soon.
