Horse Care Lab

Valuable and Practical Experience

These classes allows students to have "hands on" practice with the concepts and techniques they learn in text-based classes. Classes will include group assignments and individual assignments, but will also allow students to "practice on their own" with supervision. Horse Care Lab is also the students’ opportunity to provide the highest level of care for their own horses and equipment. Monday through Friday mornings Lab times may be used as supervised ride times for students in 2nd , 3rd & 4th quarter Training classes. Friday afternoon Lab times allow all students to have additional out-of-class "open" riding times. Friday times may also be used for group riding activities such as supervised trail rides and horse show preparation. Some optional activities may require additional fees. The time between you and your horse can be priceless. You will be amazed at what you can learn from your friend, the horse.
