Tuition and Fees
Eastern Iowa Equestrian College
Tuition:
- Full Year (4 quarters) $6,400 per year or $1,600 per quarter (128 class
hours)
Per Quarter $1,760 per quarter (32 class hours)
Per Class $60 per class hour ($1,920 per quarter)
Full Year enrolled students may make four equal quarterly payments..

- Full Board: $600 per quarter ($300 per month)
Lease for class use only: $300 per quarter ($150 per month)
- Saddle Lease: $ 80 per quarter
*Lease for Second Horse $160 for the quarter $ 80 per month
*Students may not use the same horse for Training and Horsemanship Classes in
Quarter 2 . However, during that quarter, students who are boarding a horse for
one class may lease a horse for use in the other class at a reduced rate.
Refund Policy
All money paid by the student will be refunded if requested within 10 days of
signing the Class Enrollment Agreement Form. If student cancels
after the 10 days or does not begin classes
at the program start, EIEC will refund all tuition paid, less a $100
administration fee. If a program is canceled prior to the first day of class,
all tuition will be refunded.
Pro-Rated Refunds
If a student withdraws after classes begin, the tuition will be refunded on a
weekly pro-rata basis. Any portion of a week completed will be computed as a
full week. No refunds will be given to students who complete 60% of more of the
program.
Transfer Fee
Students who have been accepted, have paid a $100 deposit and are enrolled in
classes may delay their starting dates to subsequent quarter. Student must fill
out new enrollment forms and send a $20 transfer fee.
Notice of Termination
Students choosing to terminate attendance at Eastern Iowa Equestrian College
are asked to submit a written notice to this effect, signed by the student. If
written notice is not received, the College will assume the date of termination
as the last day of class participation. Refund of tuition will be mailed within
30 days of student termination.

Muscatine
Community College's tuition is $2,400 per year (based on in-state, 16 credits
per semester) and we offer a variety of financial aid options including
scholarships, grants and loans programs. These options are available to students
of all ages, whether they just graduated from high school or have been out of
school for a number of years. In fact, more than half of our students receive
some type of financial assistance.
Compare
our tuition to those at Iowa's private colleges and technical institutes where
the average tuition is nearly $15,000 per year.
